Canon Pixma Driver For Mac
Product: scratchlive
Version: 1.8.1
Hardware: scratchlive-sl1
Computer: mac
OS Version: 10.4

I've read through tons of threads and have even watched a youtube video on how to map buttons within Serato to the Denon DN-HD2500. When I try to duplicate exactly what they are doing, mine doesn't work. The only difference that I've noticed is that everyone else was using Windows/PC.
I was able to take a template (.xml file) that I found on the internet and that was made on a PC, that someone used and do have basic functionality between the Denon and Serato via MIDI, so I know that MIDI is working. I also see the Denon as a MIDI device in the Mac 'Audio MIDI Setup'. I just want to reassign a few button and assign a few new ones and can't figure it out.
When I click the Midi button on the main screen of Serato and hover over the button that I want to assign, this is the message that I get in a grey box:
Unassigned to MIDI input. Click to assign to MIDI input.
So when I then click the button, a red box appears stating the following:
Unassigned to MIDI input. Press the MIDI button / note you wish to assign or hit 'return' to unassign
I then go to my DN-HD2500 and can click on any button and nothing happens.
All the threads and videos that I've read and seen say that the box is then supposed to turn green, which means it's been assigned. Mine does nothing.
I have the latest OS X 10.4.11 and have also put the latest firmware on the Denon which is v1400.
So my question is, can you give me a detailed step-by-step on how to assign/map button between Serato Scratch Live and the Denon DN-HD2500? If I am indeed doing everything right, any ideas on why it's not working?
